Career Management Advice and Guidance

The Royal Society of Chemistry Career Management team will be on hand to provide confidential one-to-one advice and information to professional chemical scientists, helping you to manage every aspect of your career. Guidance includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ongoing career management
  • Professional development advice and guidance
  • Returning to work after a break
  • Exploring your career options if you are thinking about making a career change
  • CV and application guidance to highlight your potential effectively
  • Interview practice to give you the tools and confidence you require
  • Redundancy risk
  • Planning for retirement
  • Anything else you need career help and advice about

These consultations are provided to all visitors of ChemUK2019 on a first come first served basis. Members and Fellows of the Royal Society of Chemistry have access to unlimited guidance and advice from our team all year round. Associate Members can access to Catalyst, our bespoke careers management sessions for recent graduates.

RSC Skills/CPD Clinic will operate from Stand B20

Operating continually on the show floor over the 2 days, RSC will provide a cross section of support and advice for attending graduate scientists as well as for relevant undergraduate & postgraduate student groups.
