Due to the current situation relating to the Covid-19 coronavirus, the organisers of CHEMUK2020 wish to reassure all our exhibitors, visitors, staff and partners that we are closely monitoring the situation and, in cooperation with our venue, EventCity, we will be taking all sensible steps to ensure that CHEMUK2021 proceeds safely and successfully.
EVENTCITY CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT
COVID-19 Coronavirus: The advice from government is that businesses should continue to operate as normal.
Whilst the UK risk level for Coronavirus has recently been increased from low to moderate, the risk to individuals has not changed and remains low. Due to extended lockdown measures, events and shows will proceed in 2021 – CHEMUK – The NEC, Birmingham.
We will continue to follow the advice provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Government and Public Health England to ensure the safety of our visitors, staff and exhibitors.
All venue attendees are encouraged to maintain good hand, respiratory and personal hygiene. Hand sanitizers will be provided across our venue.
Our visitors’ safety is our number one priority and as this is a developing situation, we will continue to monitor and review our security measures to adhere with the recommended advice. We do recommend that visitors keep a close eye on the situation too, referring to the latest information and advice provided by Public Health England, which can be found here.
