Aston University will deliver a dynamic program showcasing its role as a leader in driving sustainable innovation from lab research to real-world industry applications. Through strategic collaborations with industry partners \u2014 including Innovate UK, Ofwat, and AstraZeneca \u2014 and leveraging public funds at regional and national levels, we will highlight the transformative impact of academia-industry collaborations in areas like waste-to-energy technologies, sustainable materials, and eco-friendly solvents. Aston staff will illustrate how the University created an ecosystem of players working in the sustainability sector through a series of case studies. Rooted in Aston\u2019s sustainability strategy, the case studies will present the industry-relevant broad range of capabilities and technologies and how these are relevant to the solution of real-world challenges.<\/p>\n
The delegates will be taken on a journey exploring practical solutions for challenges in waste-to-energy, sustainable materials, and alternative solvents, gaining a deeper understanding of how academic[1]industrial partnerships drive impactful, scalable change.
