OCCA \u2013 the Oil & Colour Chemists\u2019 Association<\/strong> \u2013 is a professional learned body which is internationally recognised as one of the leading technical organisations for individuals working in the coatings, inks, adhesives and allied sectors. With a current membership of more than 600 members, OCCA provides networking potential on a local, national and international level. Members work together to devise and develop local lecture and seminar programmes alongside various social networking events.<\/p>

A recent programme for Corporate Sponsors was introduced, which is proving to be very popular. Alongside this, OCCA is partnering with several universities throughout the UK to forge closer links between academia and industry, aiming to provide employment and training opportunities for graduates and industry professionals alike.<\/p>

Surface Coatings International (SCI)<\/strong><\/h4>

Surface Coatings International (SCI) is the main publication by OCCA. Issued 6 times per year it is filled with technical papers, industry news, regulatory updates and regional activity reports. With a circulation across >60 countries it keeps members abreast of the developments in the associated industry sectors and provides ideas on formulating better products.<\/p>

Members \u2013 receive the Surface Coatings International journal free as a benefit of membership.<\/p>

From April 2015 onwards, members will have the chance to \u2018opt out\u2019 of paper copies and switch to receiving issues in digital format. Please log-in to the members\u2019 area for more details.<\/p>

You may also be able to download a number of back issues of the magazine from within the members\u2019 area.<\/p>
