Survey 3Di Ltd (S3Di) is a Premier Dimensional Control, Laser Scan Survey company offering innovative solutions to the worldwide Energy Industry.
We hold ISO 9001 Certification for “The Provision of Specialist Dimensional Control Surveying and Laser Scanning Services.”

Our provision of Survey Services does not extend into other spheres of Survey such as Land or Civils but is focussed on Engineering Surveying elements within the Energy Industry.
Our continual development in our Survey Software, methods and techniques allows us to provide at all times “best in class” service to our Customers, encouraging improved methods of build, mitigating “Failure
to Fit” at site, resulting in improved Project schedule and reduced cost.

S3Di two founding Directors have between them over +80 year’s knowledge and experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, one being the founding member of Scopus Engineering Ltd and the other the former
Operations Director. Scopus provided Survey services to the Worldwide O&G Industry for +20 years with both Directors instrumental in bringing Cultural change to that industry by advocating evolving Survey
methods and Techniques as part of the Project Cycles.

Using the vast worldwide experience gained previously and with the implementation of innovative Survey methods, S3Di provide “Clash Free”, “Fit First Time” solutions to Dimensional Challenges relating to Multi
Discipline upgrades, regardless of complexity and magnitude.

Integration of our Dimensional Control Survey strategy underpinned by our Laser Scanning capabilities within the Engineering and Fabrication cycles will mitigate site rework, reducing considerably the Project
Schedule and Cost against traditional methods of build.

Our core Survey skills are fashioned from the Oil and Gas Industry where we were tasked with removing Hot Work from Offshore Installations, and instead providing Clash Free, First Time Fit “mechano-set”
packages of work, ranging from Safety Critical, high pressure pipespool change-outs to installation of 12500T Topsides c/w 250 fully fabricated Hook Up pipespools, tested, painted prior to release for offshore
installation.

Our Dimensional Control Survey expertise ranges from the implementation of accepted Dimensional Control Survey practices within the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry, through to adoption of our Single Weld
Hook Strategy as part of the ZADCO U750 Project in Abu Dhabi.

Within this timeframe we were instrumental in setting up and developing the Dimensional Control Survey, modular construction techniques strategy, adopted by BAE Systems as part of the Astute Class Submarine
programme of works, migrating through to the Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carriers. And recently contracted to implement Dimensional Control Survey services within a National Shipyard to bring their working practices
into the “21st Century.”

The underlying objective of the referenced works and All of the Projects we have and are involved in is “FIT FIRST TIME”, mitigate rework and double handling at site.
