About this presentation
On tests the PI QFlux batch reactor system vs an equivalent industry standard batch reactor achieves more than four times the heat transfer performance and therefore productivity to that of a standard batch reactor, whilst utilizing 50% less primary energy in the process. These validated tests were carried out jointly with KOBELCO ECO-SOLUTIONS CO. LTD. Japan who constructed a purpose-built test facility, in order to host the back-to-back trials in late 2022.
The development of this integrated reactor technology follows some 4 years of R&D and collaboration with UK Universities with the specific target at the outset being the development of the fastest batch reactor system utilizing conventional materials of construction whilst achieving the most energy efficient performance when compared to current technologies.
This globally patented technology has the potential to revolutionise productivity and efficiency of existing chemical batch processing plant infrastructure. We would like to share the knowledge behind the technology and how it will benefit chemical processing and technology methods.
