Abstract : Grundfos pumps are leading the way to ensure our pumps are ready for the new digital age. Product development focusing on process control, system integration, connectivity, condition monitoring and energy saving, ensure we have the products ready for Industry 4.0 integration. Along with these innovations the additional benefits of reduced maintenance cost, down time and accurate predictive maintenance and reduced running costs across your plant. Optimising process controls including boiler feed, cooling tower optimisation, proportional digital dosing and temperature control, not only reduces energy consumption and water use. Further benefits such as, improved steam quality, reduction in gas consumption, consistent temperature conditions and reduced chemical usage. Grundfos have a dedicated process optimisation team through the UK, capable of working in partnership with the end users to identify opportunities for process improvement. This is achieved through site surveys, process monitoring and auditing of equipment. The team work alongside the process engineers to deliver optimisation based on factual data and will also identify water re-use opportunities, advising on how we can reduce your water consumption
