About this presentation

Using bursting discs for overpressure protection is necessary to maintain plant safety. However, if they are not installed correctly, they can lead to leaks and fugitive emissions. In this presentation, we introduce the next generation of welded bursting discs assemblies that are specifically designed to solve problems inherent in traditional three-piece assembly designs.

OsecoElfab discusses a solution to help meet the EU’s ambition on reducing greenhouse gas emissions to at least 55% below 1990 levels by 2030. The proposed targets are outlined in the 2030 Climate Target Plan. Emissions from industrial installations across the UK and EU are regulated and limited by the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) 2010/75/EU.

The Oseco Safety CartridgeTM is a hermetically sealed one-piece solution that has the potential to decrease plant emissions by up to 50% as well as saving time on installation and inspection. The solution is the ‘Best Available Technique (BAT)’ to reduce emissions and impact on the environment as a whole.
