Processes and the ability to fulfil with a greater degree of efficiency and speed have enabled a greater use of mobile technology which includes wearable devices all certified for use in a Hazardous Environment. Mobile devices will take the place of traditional paper processes and depending on the end customers objective can offer a range of benefits, cost, operational efficiency, worker productivity, speed and accuracy. The introduction of wearable technology steps it up another gear, not having to wait but being able to collaborate with a colleague or expert in real time using ‘assisted collaboration’ meaning you see what I see to ensure issues are resolved, a second option gained a problem solved.
Carl Henderson has been working with ecom – P+F for over 15 years and has seen many technology changes in his time. Carl has been instrumental in promoting the use of digital technologies is some of the worlds biggest end users. His current position is to lead mobile technology within our Global Accounts.
