About this presentation

As consumers, sustainability profile of goods we purchase has come on top of the criteria of choice together with performance and cost. From carbon footprint, reduced packaging, origin of natural raw material, electricity consumption in use, we are all looking at implementing new habits and every little step matters.

Laundry detergents are no exception and interest is high for multifunctional solutions that combine cleaning performance and fabric softeners properties. In that regard we would like to share a view on consumer needs, how the landscape of ingredients for those is looking like, as well as testing if they are fulfilling consumer needs ultimately. As a part of that, you will also get to know our innovative generation of eco- and climate-friendly Glucamide surfactants. Especially Sunflower-based Glucamides help to ensure good cleaning performance of detergents, whilst adding softening and easy ironing benefits to fabrics, reducing the need to use additional fabric softeners. Because feedstocks for Sunflower-based Glucamides are sourced in Europe exclusively, it not only allows to increase natural content in formula, but also helps to limit deforestation in tropical region on the world, as well as to reduce transportation routes and CO2-Footprint.
