Justine FoshChief Executive Officer - Cogent Skills
The COMAH Strategic Forum (CSF) has launched a new workstream focused on the current and future state of process safety capability across Upper and Lower Tier COMAH sites and within the COMAH Competent Authority.
Led by Justine Fosh, CEO of Cogent Skills, the Capability Workgroup will develop a capability strategy to ensure that there is the right competence (knowledge, skills & motivation) and capacity (in the right places and at the right amount) for the safe management and effective regulation of companies impacted by COMAH regulations.
The CSF wants to hear directly from employers, particularly those with significant numbers of existing COMAH sites and those who have recently fallen under the COMAH regulations, to understand the issues they are facing with the training and development, and recruitment and retention of qualified and experienced process safety professionals.
