About this presentation
The PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol) is a water-soluble resin which shows low skin irritation properties. It functions as a pharmaceutical excipient including a coating and granulation agent, and a cosmetic additive such as a film former and a thickener however the recent studies we have discovered that PVA can be used for as sustained release formulation and also applications for Hot Melt Extrusion. This presentation we will discuss the novel application of how you can use PVA and the benefits of using the PVA compared to the other excipients on the market.
