About this presentation:

Continuous chemical manufacturing provides just-in-time manufacturing at lower labour costs with ample sustainability benefits. Compared to multip urpose batch plants\, continuous plants are often narrow in scope\, bespok e\, and expensive. A series of stirred tanks (CSTRs) is multifunctional\, scalable and uses a lot of batch knowledge. That is why we developed a nov el reactor that contains 10 CSTRs in a single vessel. In the talk\, we dis cuss several case studies that benefit from CSTR-in-series continuous oper ation and the pathway from grams to tonne production.

Nikolay Cherkasov received his PhD from Moscow University (Russia) and spend 10 years in academia working on catalysis and continuous processing. He has 50+ research papers in the area of catalysis\, process development &\; autom ation\, and process intensification. The academic work led to the establis hment of the company\, Stoli Chem\, which innova tes continuous chemical production achieving efficiency and sustainability .
