This year, we’re shifting focus to Laundry & Fabric Care, a growing and highly relevant sector. We’ve seen a notable rise in enquiries, including from personal care customers entering this market, making it a hot topic. Over the past two years, we’ve centred on cost-effective and green formulations, but this year’s approach will be more targeted.
By developing and promoting a few key laundry formulations, we can effectively showcase the suppliers’ materials incorporated within them. Additionally, we can conduct a plant content comparison between our formulations and existing market products to highlight plant-based ingredient levels. A major emphasis will be on sustainability and environmental impact, tackling key industry concerns such as: Lower washing temperatures with enzymes to improve performance in cold washes. Reducing fabric pilling for longer-lasting garments. Shorter wash cycles to cut down on energy consumption and carbon footprint. Water-saving solutions, including fabric refresher sprays as an alternative to frequent washing. By addressing these trends, we’re covering a wide range of sustainability-focused innovations.
If we support our formulations with data, we could even encourage direct adoption, with some customers potentially purchasing the formulations as-is to maintain the associated environmental claims.
