About us

HETA is an employer-led, not-for-profit training provider supporting the engineering and manufacturing sectors across the UK. Established by industry, for industry, HETA works in partnership with employers to develop skilled, work-ready individuals through high-quality apprenticeship and commercial training programmes aligned to real workforce needs.
With a strong heritage in technical training, HETA has built particular expertise in supporting the chemical and process industries. From COMAH-regulated environments to advanced manufacturing facilities, we understand the operational, safety and compliance demands facing chemical employers. Our programmes are designed to develop the technical competence, behaviours and safety culture required in high-hazard and highly regulated settings.
We deliver apprenticeship pathways and workforce development solutions across disciplines including process operations, mechanical and electrical engineering, instrumentation, maintenance and engineering design.
