Nutromex TEA Series
In order for anaerobic plants to operate effectively they require a variety of nutrients for the micro-organisms to grow and function properly. Essential trace elements such as iron, nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, copper, molybdenum and selenium which are critical for the successful operation in anaerobic conditions and for correct bacterial growth. OMEX has created the TEA series to help prevent these deficiencies which can affect a plants stability, performance and biogas production. A range of bio available micronutrient supplements created for the anaerobic digester market. These Trace Element Additives provide a wide range of essential trace elements, in a form fully bio-available in anaerobic conditions, to optimise system performance.
Micromex Series
The performance of a biological system is highly dependent on the microbial strains present. In many cases, the biological population in an effluent treatment plant is not ideally adapted to cope with variations in loading and composition, and is unable to provide optimum performance. OMEX Environmental offers the Micromex EU Range; bio augmentation solutions designed to optimise the biological activity in aerobic wastewater treatment plants, and individually tailored for all types of effluent.
Anomex
Anomex, calcium and sodium nitrate solutions, have been developed for effluent treatment to prevent sulphide gas build-up by substituting nitrogen into the microbial respiratory processes, reducing metal corrosion of tanks and pipes and removing unpleasant odours.
Nutromex Series
Nutromex is a range of Nitrogen and Phosphorus blends designed to level out nutritional imbalances in aerobic plants. The normal ratio for aerobic plants with no N or P input is 5:1 but all ratios – from 100%N to 100%P – can be provided to optimise plant performance. Nutritionally, most wastewaters are unbalanced, particularly in Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P). This is where Nutromex can help. Nutromex NP has several benefits for the process including optimal COD removal and BOD removal, minimised solids loss, ensuring a stable operation and minimising fluctuations in N and P outlet.
Magmex Series
Magmex is a range of Magnesium Hydroxide suspensions used for acidic wastewater treatment to control pH levels and the addition of alkalinity within both anaerobic and aerobic systems. Traditionally, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and calcium hydroxide (lime) have been used to neutralise acidic wastewater. However, these compounds can cause high pH levels if not controlled correctly, which can lead to high consumption of the neutraliser – a wasteful and expensive practice! The Magmex range is the environmentally friendly answer for acidic wastewater treatment. It is safe and easy to use, and due to the physical and chemical properties of the high solid strength suspensions, Magmex offers pH neutralisation reactions that are easy to control and alkalinity that is carried over within the system. This means that product consumption can be controlled accurately, hence providing an upstream saving compared to other methods.
