About us

Plater Group is an evolving hybrid distributor and manufacturer, combining strong distribution and sales expertise. We supply over 300 different chemicals to customers in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Horticulture, and Water Treatment industries across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Our materials are sourced from UK, European, and Chinese producers, and are delivered directly to customers or processed via our manufacturing facilities in Glossop.

We offer deep expertise in industrial chemical distribution, bespoke powder and liquid blending, spray drying, and the manufacture and supply of industrial chemicals, biostimulants, and micronutrients.

Our team has extensive technical knowledge of our products, enabling us to advise on complementary and alternative chemicals. We are committed to solving our customers' challenges by leveraging our technical capability. Our facilities support this with laboratory blend testing and the ability to produce short-run pilot blends for R&D projects, alongside full-scale commercial production.
