Autoflex R817 Automated Sugar Density Meter and Refractometer
Sugar beet and cane mills often need to make multiple analyses from a single sample while reducing bench chemist involvement. Sugar testing lab automation allows chemists to reduce human error in the labs while increasing throughput and repeatability. Autoflex R827

Autoflex R837 Automated Flavour and Fragrance Polarimeter, Density Meter and Refractometer
Many flavour and fragrance labs need to make multiple tests of their sample such as automated density, specific gravity, refractive index, optical rotation, specific rotation, brix, colour and pH measurements all with one sample loading. Automated testing can be challenging as samples are scarce or very valuable and using the minimum amount of samples is important. Samples may be very viscous and require several solvents to fully clean the instrument. The Autoflex R837 can handle all of these requirements, using both suction and pressure at the same time makes pumping high viscosity samples of up to 37,000 mPa is possible through instruments still using less than 12 ml of sample

Autopol II Dual Wavelength Polarimeter
The Autopol II is designed as a general purpose, automatic, dual wavelength polarimeter for budget focused pharmacuetical, contract, food and chemistry laboratories. Packed with features the Autopol II offers the same standard and optional features as the Autopol I but allows greater wavelength flexibility with 589nm and 546nm standard wavelengths and optional 365nm, 405nm, 436nm, 578nm, and 633nm available. The Autopol II features a built in thermoprobe for temperature and optional TempTrol automatic electronic heating and cooling.

Autopol I Sugar Polarimeter
The Autopol I is a food and sugar polarimeter and can be used in less demanding applications where the budget is critical, but quality is still important. The Autopol I is a single wavelength instrument operating at 589nm. The 589nm wavelength is often referred to as the Sodium D-Line. The Autopol I features a built in thermoprobe for temperature measurement and is manufactured using the same high quality Glan Thompson Calcite Polarizers used in high accuracy models.

J457 High Accuracy Refractometer
The J457 is the most capable instrument in the Rudolph Research refractometer product line. 3 configurations are available (small footprint, wall mount or factory remote-read) each with exclusive Smart Measure technology that virtually ensures accurate Refractive Index (RI) and BRIX measurements by automatically detecting sample problems. The J457 can determine when the prism is improperly cleaned, insufficient sample is loaded, or if the instrument is improperly calibrated. J357 Research Refractometer
The J357 high performance refractometer is designed as a research quality instrument and offers one of the highest measurement ranges of any instrument in the Rudolph Research refractometer product line. This instrument offers the same extra wide refractive index measurement range as the Rudolph Research chemical industry refractometer models combined with the high accuracy of our food industry refractometer models. J457 CLR Contact Lens Refractometer
The J457CLR contact lens refractometers are designed for measurement of contact lenses both hard and soft as well as accurately checking saline solutions and are an ideal replacement for the Index Instruments CLR 12-70 contact lens refractometer. The instrument is available in two versions: The FC model comes with a Rudolph supplied display, nothing needs to be added, the user simply removes it from the box and connects to power. If the user wants transfer results to a PC they can but they do not have to The CB model comes with a USB connection cable and software. Thus, ready to be connected to a user supplied PC. All results automatically save on that PC Easy Loading Soft contact lenses are easy to tear and hard to position correctly. The J457 positions the loading low and directly in front of the operator making it easy to position the lens with the hands in a supported position. Soft Positioning The J457 has a soft positioning device that gently lowers the contact lens into the measuring position and minimizes changes due to compression. Variable Pressure An adjustable weight system allows a user to choose the amount of pressure to put on the contact lens and then put that same amount of pressure on every time. Small Measuring Spot (MIO) A conventional J457 measures along a strip a few mm long. An application like a contact lens in saline where there are different refractive indices requires a much smaller measuring spot, The MIO optics uses a different focusing system to create that smaller spot.

DDM 29 Portable Density Meter
Density meter measurements are highly sensitive to temperature and simply correcting for temperature alone does not work well for many sample types. The DDM 29 hand held density meter has unmatched capabilities in a fully portable unit. The problem with most hand held density meters is they drift because they do not control temperature. Most use temperature correction with 2 or 3 digit accuracy which is very prone to drift. Density meter measurements are highly sensitive to temperature and mathematically correcting for temperature may not be good enough for some applications. Only temperature control will result in the accuracy many users require. Peltier Control The DDM 29 features Peltier temperature control, not present in most hand held density meters. It uses powerful and compact Peltier technology to control the sample temperature for precise heating and cooling, ensuring stable and accurate measurements to 4 decimal places at either 20° or 25°C.

Autopol 880 Plus and Autopol 880T Plus Pharmaceutical Grade Sugar Testing Saccharimeters
The Autopol 880 Plus and Autopol 880T Plus are the latest most advanced model, developed and tested in conjunction with labs testing pharmaceutical grade sugars. These labs require precise temperature control yet still want flow through cell type operation. These units are only suitable for air-conditioned modern laboratories. The Autopol 589 saccharimeter from Rudolph Research Analytical provides the same features, measuring speed and accuracy of the Autopol 880 but at the single wavelength of 589 nm. For 0.01°Z accuracy sugar testing and payment. 589 nm is for countries and applications where lead or other suitable clarifiers are being used. This model works at 589 nm and is not compliant with ICUMSA testing at 880 nm.

Autopol IZ and Autopol IIZ Sugar Purity Testing Saccharimeters
The Autopol IIZ is a single wavelength (589 nm) saccharimeter that is perfect for 0.02º Z applications where budget is critical. It is popular for applications that do not require ICUMSA measurement at the 880 nm wavelength. The Autopol IIZ is a dual wavelength (589 nm and 880 nm) saccharimeter for sugar mills that perform sugar purity testing according to the ICUMSA non-lead procedure.
