About us
Scame-UK Limited, headquartered in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, operates as an autonomous subsidiary of Scame Parre S.p.A., Italy. The Scame Group is a well-established manufacturer and distributor of industrial plugs and sockets, bespoke combination units, electric vehicle charging solutions, and associated power distribution products. Scame-UK operates from over 16,500 square feet of modern warehouse and office facilities, holding a substantial stock of core products specifically tailored to the UK electrical wholesale market. In addition, customers benefit from access to more than 15,000 product lines manufactured across the wider Scame Group.
Founded in 1963 in Parre, Italy, the Scame Group first built its reputation within the domestic market before expanding internationally. Today, Scame exports to over 80 countries across five continents. Through continuous design innovation and sustained investment in research and development, the Group remains at the forefront of industrial electrical solutions. This includes leading advancements in electric vehicle charging technologies and the delivery of fully certified solutions for hazardous gas and dust environments. With an ever-expanding product portfolio, Scame offers one of the most comprehensive and technically advanced ranges of industrial plugs, sockets, and combination units available. All products are manufactured in compliance with relevant international standards, including BS EN 60309-2, BS 4343:1992, and IEC 309-1/2.

Scame-UK has established a fully integrated national sales network covering the entire United Kingdom, supported by its head office through dedicated marketing, telesales, production, and assembly teams.
