About us

Tantaline CVD ApS specializes in
providing superior corrosion resistance solutions
through its proprietary Tantaline® surface
treatment technology. This innovative process
involves creating an ultra-thin, highly durable
tantalum layer on metal parts, enabling them to
function reliably in extremely aggressive
environments, including hot acids, sour gas, and
seawater, for extended periods.

The technology has been on the market for
more than 20 years and has proven its reliability
across various industries.

Tantaline treatment is used for valves, bellows, fittings,
fasteners, pumps, lab reactors, rupture disc holders,
thermowells etc, including custom parts and welded
assemblies.

Tantaline treatment for extreme corrosion protection

We offer extreme corrosion protection. Our Tantalum-based treatment, called Tantaline®, allows your components to work in extremely aggressive environments such as hot acids, sour gas and sea water, for extended periods of time. Tantaline® treatment – 50 μm layer of the metal tantalum alloyed to the surface to significantly enhance corrosion resistance of the material. Tantaline utilizes a patented Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) process which delivers the most corrosion resistant material commercially available for surface protection. Enables prolonged operation in harsh environments such as hot acids and sour gas, extending component lifetimes, reducing downtime. Applied in chemical processing, oil and gas, next generation energy, semi-conductor manufacturing and mining industries.
