Thermal Fluid Systems Ltd. and its sister company PTSC is the industries leading supplier of single fluid heat transfer systems with over 40 years history in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of bespoke heat transfer fluid systems and some +500 custom system applications supplied.
Long before renewable energy applications were generally considered over fossil fuel energy sources, Thermal Fluid Systems Ltd have been producing electric powered single fluid thermal systems, which are now emerging more regularly as a future industrial Low /Zero Carbon application technology.
Our vast experience in system design and efficiency are used to advise clients on fluid selections, process control accuracy, prediction of heating and cooling times and in the development of both individual, as well as complete facility heating/cooling/chilling packages, based around our clients specific processing requirements.

Autoclave High Temperature Process System
Autoclave High Temperature Process System PTSC, alongside Thermal Fluid Systems, delivers advanced thermal process solutions designed to meet the demands of high-performance industrial manufacturing. This project highlights the successful design and implementation of a high-temperature thermal fluid heat-transfer system supporting a new high-volume process autoclave installation, completed in August 2025. Together, the companies provided full design, supply, and commissioning of a system capable of delivering 1.7 MW of thermal energy, enabling precise thermal control within one of the world’s largest high-pressure autoclave environments. Developed to support the production of engineered polymer foams, the solution demonstrates expertise in complex thermal modelling, system integration, and international engineering compliance. Delivered within an accelerated 18-month programme, the project required adaptation of European standards to meet US codes and legislation, including ASME and UL requirements, while maintaining high levels of performance and reliability. The final system operates up to 300 °C and 10 barg, showcasing PTSC and Thermal Fluid Systems’ capability to execute challenging global projects from concept through to commissioning.

1.6MW Heat Recovery system
Waste Energy Capture & Distribution System 1.6MW High-Temperature Energy Recovery | Completed 2025 Thermal Fluid Systems Ltd (TFS) delivered a fully integrated waste heat recovery and distribution system for a major European manufacturer as part of a sustainability-driven capacity expansion. The 18-month Design, Supply & Construct project captures process heat up to 850°C and redistributes it through controlled thermal loops operating up to 260°C, converting excess energy into a reliable production asset.

Introduction to the PI QFlux - Super Fast Batch Reactor
At Thermal Fluid Systems, we are proud to introduce the PI QFlux® fast batch reactor—an innovative breakthrough developed by our sister company PTSC The PI QFlux® represents a fundamental shift in batch processing technology. Designed to overcome the long-standing limitations of conventional reactors, it delivers a step-change in performance by combining exceptional heat transfer capability with advanced mixing and multi-zone thermal control. The result is a new class of “fast batch reactor” engineered to dramatically increase productivity while maintaining full process flexibility and compliance. Through its patented design and high-efficiency heat flux system, the PI QFlux® achieves significantly accelerated heating and cooling cycles—enabling up to four times faster processing compared to traditional glass-lined reactors. At the same time, it reduces primary energy consumption and lowers thermal inertia, offering both operational cost savings and a more sustainable pathway for chemical manufacturing.
