WERIT UK manufacture IBCs & Canisters from our BRCGS accredited Production Plant in Irlam, Manchester.

Canisters
WERIT is your specialist in the manufacturing of industry-specific industrial packaging products. Here, our wide range of products support companies from a full range of industries in the storing and transportation of various liquid and pasty raw materials in an economical and optimum manner. In the production, we put our focus on specifically producing those canister options, with filling volumes of 20 and 25 litres, demanded by the foodstuffs and chemical industries and considered standard in these industries and their sub-sectors. The WERIT Plastic Canisters fulfil both the high UN norms (Y1.9) and the individual demands of our customers. - Avoid dangerous spray during emptying - Precise dosing - Guaranteed emptying of residues - Versatile application due to hazardous goods approval - Optimised pallet layout (17 pieces per level) - Optimum stacking properties - Large labelling area HDPE canister We manufacture all products from so-called High Density Polyethylene. This thermoplastic HDPE plastic convinces thanks to a range of positive material properties, such as a high level of robustness and resistance. The WERIT PE Canisters have optimum deformation properties and are also resistant to most alkalis, acids and other chemical bonds. Even at temperatures of minus 40 and plus 70 degrees Celsius, our plastic canisters keep their shape and are therefore always ready for use. Being a customer of WERIT, you will benefit from a wide range of products. Our canister range produced from HDPE new goods in Manchester (UK), is distinguished by a broad selection of weight classes and at the same time a wide range of colour options. In addition to our standard canisters, we also offer our Ecovent® special canisters. The patented Ecovent® process allows you to empty containers without leaving any residue, thanks to the continuous flow of air, and also allows for spray-free pouring with an even flow - meaning that dangerous sprays are also a thing of the past.
Intermediate Bulk Container
WERIT Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC containers) are the ideal solution to safely and reliably transport liquid media, particularly those that are classified as hazardous goods. Customers are able to choose from different product lines depending on their requirements. WERIT has developed various equipment lines for, and amongst, the food, car, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry as well as for car suppliers and logistics sector in order to satisfy all demands of the respective fields of application. WERIT IBCs are available in 300, 600, 800 and 1000 litre sizes. The range of products also offers various models for a diverse area of applications and differing fill requirements. Our IBCs usually stand on a plastic pallet and are fitted with tubular steel frames. The tubular steel frames protect the tank or container from deformation. The global market demands the responsible use of raw materials and resources. As a result, WERIT is constantly working on innovations and intelligent solutions for packaging systems, including retrieval and recycling activities. The IBC module system allows for both easy cleaning as well as cost-effective reconditioning through replacement of individual components. This allows for an ideal solution for a cost-effective and resource-conserving multi-way usage.
Reusable Transport Packaging
The company WERIT is specialised in the manufacturing of trade and industry-specific industrial packagings such as plastic containers, IBC containers, industrial tanks, plastic pallets, canisters and transport containers. We help companies to efficiently and safely transport and store the most diverse raw materials, goods and products, being liquid, pasty or as solid matter. - Comprehensive range of containers - Optimum for the storage of raw materials, goods and components - Made of high-quality thermoplastic PP and HDPE plastic - Optimum deformation properties and also robust and durable - Dimensionally stable at temperatures between -40°C and +70°C - Non-sensitive against most alkalis, acids and chemicals - Specific material solutions - special additive for individual requirements Specific material solutions for individual plastic containers In addition to the different individual paths for identification, we offer you additional specific material solutions for the most varied applications. Depending on the customer request and material requirements, WERIT adjusts the series production such, for example, to manufacture customer-specific boxes that are UV protected, antimicrobial or suitable for food. Especially when dealing hygiene issues, low bacterial densities or a low concentration of bacteria, our customers put their trust in containers of the WERIT STERiline. For all surfaces that come into contact with the product, we use a special additive that counteracts contamination of the filled media - bacteria, algae and fungi as well as viruses therefore do not have any chance. As humans and the environment are very close to our heart, here we do not use any chemical biocides or highly volatile nanomaterials.
Plastic Pallets
With more then 60 years of experience in the sector for industrial packagings for transport and storage of hazardous substances, WERIT offers a wide range of plastic pallets for different fields of industry and logistics. In order to meet the high demands of the foodstuffs as well as the non-food industry, we manufacture our plastic pallets with HDPE new goods or reclaimed HDPE. This ensures both a long service life of our robust pallets and full compliance with the necessary industry requirements. The WERIT range of pallets comprises half pallets (800 x 600 mm) as well as Euro pallets (1,200 x 800 mm) and industrial pallets (1,200 x 1,000 mm) made of plastic that, depending on the customer requirements and demands, are available as hygiene pallets or IKP-pallets.
