E&I ATEX Inspectors - NATIONWIDE

🔧 Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for carrying out Hazardous Area inspections in line with client schedules, ensuring full compliance with ATEX classifications and BS EN 60079 standards.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
🔹Inspect all electrical and instrumentation equipment within classified hazardous areas
🔹Maintain and support hazardous area equipment registers
🔹Identify and report ATEX non-compliance
🔹Complete risk assessments and operate safely under PTW systems
🔹Support multi-discipline teams where required
🔹Carry out remedial repairs on hazardous area equipment when necessary

Essential Qualifications
🔹Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent
🔹NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Maintenance (or equivalent)
🔹CompEx Ex01–Ex04 (Gas & Vapours) – current
🔹IET Wiring Regulations – 18th Edition

Desirable:
🔹CompEx Ex09-Ex10 (Water)
🔹CompEx Ex05–Ex06 (Dust)
🔹EUSR
🔹CCNSG Safety Passport
