FORUM: Inspections / Whole Picture: Edition 2 – Competences A–Z, Case Studies, and Management Before, During and After
In February 2026, C&P Engineering, part of C&P Group Holdings, held a Hazardous Area Safety Forum, titled , Edition 1 – Beyond Electrical: Mechanical Safety Matters Too.
This forum brought together professionals from across the water utility sector to discuss the often overlooked risks associated with non-electrical and mechanical equipment in hazardous areas. With presentations from industry specialists and representatives from major water utilities, the event generated valuable discussion around inspection regimes, asset management, containment systems and record keeping, highlighting shared challenges across many sites.
Following the success of its inaugural event, and due to the strong engagement and positive feedback from attendees, C&P Engineering is now planning its next forum for September, titled:
“Inspections / The Whole Picture: Edition 2 – Competences A–Z, Case Studies, and Management Before, During and After.”
The topic has already attracted significant interest within the industry, particularly following discussions at HazardEx Live 2026, where many delegates asked whether C&P Engineering would host a further session. The upcoming forum will build on this momentum, exploring the full inspection lifecycle and the importance of competence, planning and management before, during and after inspections.
C&P Engineering invites professionals from across the water utility sector who are involved in hazardous area management, inspections, and asset integrity to express their interest in attending the September forum.
