This new generation Bartec SP9 Ex1 Intrinsically Safe Smartphone replaces the PIXAVI Phone and Impact X. The SP9 Ex1 is certified for use in ATEX / IECEx Zone 0 areas. Now fully compatible with 5G mobile networks, and also WiFi 6 enabled, the SP9 Ex1 offers super fast connectivity when communicating within hazardous locations.

Weighing in at only 350 grams, the Bartec SP9 Ex1 retains its lightweight and compact design, and combined with the market-leading 6.1″ AMOLED display, provides users with the same ease-of-use as a consumer smartphone without compromising on safety or ruggedness.

The SP9 Ex1 now utilises Android 13 OS with regular security updates and comes with a dedicated programming function (e.g. as PTT, SOS, man-down, or camera button). The Zone 0 smartphone now also comes with a huge 48 megapixel back facing camera, Ultra 4K video recording function and 8 mega pixel front facing camera.
