The Fristam FK and FKL are hygienic circumferential piston pumps designed for demanding product transfer in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Both are built for viscous media, hygienic processing and reliable positive displacement pumping, but they serve different priorities: the FK focuses on gentle handling of high-viscosity products with high flow rates, while the FKL is engineered for maximum durability in heavy-duty applications.
FK – for high-viscosity products and gentle transfer
The Fristam FK uses ultra-narrow internal clearances and circumferential pistons to deliver strong suction, high flow rates and low-shear product handling, even with very viscous products. It is available with one-wing rotors for delicate, inhomogeneous products and two-wing rotors for high-speed processes with minimal shear, making it a flexible choice for applications ranging from sauces and chocolate to fruit preparations and products with particulates.

FKL – for heavy-duty reliability
The Fristam FKL is the heavy-duty option within the range, designed for exceptional durability, pressure stability and long service life. Fristam highlights its large-diameter lifetime shaft, contact-free balanced rotor design, true CIP capability and ability to cope with pressure peaks, making it especially suitable where uptime, robustness and low maintenance are critical. The FKL also supports high flow rates and very high viscosities in challenging process environments.
