Applications:
Corrosion Inhibition - A major use is in steam and water treatment systems and oilfield applications to protect metal equipment from corrosion.
Agrochemicals - Used in creating stable emulsions for water-based pesticide formulations.
Coatings and Paints - Used in water-based paints, floor waxes and coatings as an emulsifier (via amine soaps) and to improve adhesion to surfaces like aluminium.
Polymer Synthesis - Serves as an intermediate in producing polyamine resins, polybutadiene-based isocyanates and other specialized polymers.
Water Treatment - Serves as a flocculating agent, CO2 reducer by neutralizing carbonic acid.
