K88539 Automated Air Release Analyser
K88539 Automated Air Release Analyser
Overview
The K88539 is a fully automated analyser for determining the air release value of turbine, hydraulic and lubricating oils. It heats the sample to the set temperature, sparges with compressed air and measures the time for entrained air to dissipate, delivering objective, repeatable results for QC and specification testing.
Standards
• ASTM D3427
• IP 313
• ISO 9120
• DIN 51381
• NF E 48-614
• NF T 60-149
• BS 2000 Part 313
Key features
• Integrated touchscreen control with guided workflow
• Automatic lift moves the test vessel between air source and balance sinker
• Automatic density determination for air release value calculation
• Integrated circulation bath with level indicator
• Integrated balance and secure air tube clamp
• Automated draining of the jacketed test vessel
• Safety shield and LIMS compatible data export
Performance and benefits
• Objective digital imaging and sensors remove operator subjectivity
• Consistent timing and density correction improve precision and traceability
• Short test cycles support high throughput in busy labs
• Ambient to 75 °C test temperature range
Typical applications
• Refinery, blending plant and lubricant manufacturer QC
• Aviation turbine and kerosene specification testing
• Hydraulic and turbine oils development and benchmarking
• Incoming goods checks and batch release
What is included
• K88539 instrument with touchscreen, circulation bath and integrated balance
• Test vessel, air flow control, clamps and accessories to run the standard method
• USB or network data export; LIMS connectivity options
Summary
