Augean works closely with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in their mission to clean up the UK’s earliest nuclear sites safely, securely and cost effectively.
Alongside the NDA, Augean manages radioactive waste from a range of other sources, including NORM and Research Sites.
Our specialist centres process by-products and waste materials from the Radioactive Industry to provide cost effective solutions for re-use, recovery or disposal. We have significant processing capacity to sustainably treat contaminated metals, solids and selected liquids.
The quality of our service and infrastructure, and the range and quantities of wastes we treat and dispose under our Environmental Permits, are valued by our customers.
From initial enquiry our team are on hand to guide customers through the process of safely and compliantly dealing with these often hard to handle wastes. Our technical team review all enquiries, understanding that timing is often crucial to keep a project moving.
Once a project is under way, our customer service team ensure all compliance paperwork meets regulatory standards with full reporting available.
