The SIPPRO portfolio provides a wide range of highly refined and treated mineral oils for use as solvents and extender fluids in both professional and domestic silicone sealants. This product range enables silicone sealant formulations to choose the oil which provides the best balance of performance and cost for the intended sealant application. The range encompasses oils of both paraffinic and naphthenic types, with a range of viscosities, pour points and volatilities.
SIPRO products are available with viscosities from 3 cst to 9 cst at 40 deg C, have a high degree of iso paraffin content and are very pure with extremely low levels of sulphur and aromatics. They are clean, colourless and have excellent UV stability which enables reduced yellowing and good transparency in finished sealants.
