VariDens Density Meter
VariDens Density Meter
Overview
VariDens is a high-precision, modular benchtop density meter for liquids. It uses an oscillating U-tube with rapid Peltier temperature control to deliver fast, repeatable density and related concentration results for QC and R&D.
Key features
• Oscillating U-tube with automatic viscosity and temperature compensation
• Rapid Peltier temperature control with short stabilisation times
• Bubble detection and live quality checks to avoid bad results
• Small sample volume, suitable for syringes or flow-through measurements
• Intuitive touchscreen with guided methods and user prompts
• LIMS and ELN connectivity, data export via USB or network
Performance
• Accuracy to suit regulated QC, with excellent repeatability for routine testing
• Broad measuring range for aqueous, organic, pharma and petrochemical products
• Optional method packs for direct concentration, specific gravity and API calculations
Temperature control
• Integrated Peltier system across common lab ranges
• Continuous monitoring with alarms if the measurement is outside the set point
Compliance and data integrity
• 21 CFR Part 11 capable with user management, audit trails and electronic signatures
• User levels, electronic records and secure data transfer support GMP workflows
Typical applications
• Pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates and final products
• Chemicals, solvents, flavours, fragrances and cosmetics
• Beverages, syrups and sugar solutions
• Petroleum products including fuels, oils and lubricants
What makes it different
VariDens combines high stability, rapid temperature control and smart quality checks in a modular platform. The result is traceable, reproducible density and concentration data with minimal sample, quick cleaning and high throughput for busy laboratories.
