James Clark is one of the founding directors of the green chemistry company Addible. With state-of-the-art laboratories in Ireland, Addible turns green chemistry innovations into commercial reality with current activities including green materials, chemical recycling of waste materials, and green reagents and solvents. James was one of the pioneers of the green chemistry movement: he founded Europes largest research and education centre, started the worlds number one journal (“Green Chemistry”) and established the worlds first Masters programme in green and sustainable chemistry. He holds many distinctions including European, RSC and SCI prizes and honorary doctorates from universities in Belgium, Germany, Portugal and Sweden.
