It is an essential and integral part of the chemical supply chain\, and in 2022\, supported by the Department for Transport\, the logistics industry launched Generation Logistics to increase the number of people considerin g logistics as a career\, and improve positive sentiment about logistics\, especially with key target groups including 16–\;24-year-olds\, care er switchers\, and other minority groups. In short\, it’\;s all about encouraging the next generation of logistics workers to engage with the o pportunities available and keep the nation’\;s supply chains protecte d.

The Chemical Business Association (CBA ) has been an official partner and supporter of Generation Logistics from the outset and in this session\, Tim Doggett\, CEO of the CBA will introdu ce Phil Roe from Generation Logistics and President of Logistics UK who wi ll give an overview of this incredibly successful initiative\, describing the collaborative journey across companies\, Trade Associations &\; Gov ernment which has created a highly effective campaign and to highlight the impressive results already achieved in such a short space of time.
