come here every year; it’s a regular event for us. We’re a chemical distributor
business, it’s a real opportunity to meet our customers and this is very much
the showcase of the year, and we’ve had a lot of footfall this year which is
great and there’s been a lot of connections made.

are a manufacturer based in the United States and we’re looking to grow our
business in the UK. There’s a lot of potential in the chemicals industry for our
products, so were really trying to get our name out there and get to be known
here. The smart badge technology and app are very very handy, very practical.
We’ve been using it easily, we don’t have any issues, it’s clear and we like to
put our little notes in there and use them religiously really.
Royal Society of Chemistry
So,
we’re at CHEMUK to discuss with chemists how the Royal Society of Chemistry can
support them individually, their companies, through accreditation, membership,
professional awards whatever that might be. We’ve found it really valuable. So,
we’ve been doing a presentation on some of the stages, and we’ve had a couple
of people on stands to speak with passers-by, and it’s been fantastic.

The
footfall I think this year has been particularly good, I was here yesterday and
at the beginning there’s always that worry of are we going to get the people
coming by and more importantly are they going to stop at the stand. Yesterday was absolutely brilliant and today
I’m getting the same vibe as well, it’s a really good chance to connect with
people.

CHEMUK has been really busy for us, and there’s so many different people all across the industry to see and speak to here. We’ve made some good connections and also reconnected with our existing customers – it’s great to see them face-to-face.

We
are a water treatment company selling controllers, automation for chemical. But
we also supply all the chemicals for cooling towers & boilers. So far, it’s
been great, we’ve already had a lead come through asking us for a quote, within
less than 24hrs and we’ve already booked for next year. It’s been a really
great show so far.
ITP Packaging Ltd
This is our 5th year at the show and were here because we’ve got
a lot of customers here and the industries that we supply to for our packaging.
It’s a great source of meeting a lot of new customers and new faces. I’m new to
ITP this year, only started in February, so it’s a good way of meeting our
customers and also introducing the packaging to new customers as well.
LS Scientific
It’s quality conversations that you can’t really get over a phone in the middle
of their busy life. Here you can actually showcase them and get some really
good quality conversations going and meetings. For us it’s really important.
Acre Consultancy
This is our first visit to CHEMUK, we know it’s really important so that’s why
we came. Of course, it’s our first year as ACRE, but I think it’s as big as
ever and we’re really enjoying it. Well, it’s essential really, it means we get
to meet some of our existing clients face-to-face say hi, they know were here.
It gives us lots of opportunities to showcase our own expertise with people who
don’t know us.

Banner Chemicals
The experience has been really good; it’s been really busy. We’re getting a lot of new contacts in, and a lot of our old customers are coming to speak to us. So, it’s been a really productive day. I think the main opportunity we get is meeting new customers, new suppliers and seeing our colleagues. It’s the first year that we’ve seen the app and smart badge technology, I think it’s going to be really good. It will automate it a little bit better for us and it’ll be quite interesting to see the feedback we get from our customers.

been a really good show for us this year. We’ve been coming to this show since
it started in Harrogate, and every year since then. We meet a lot of our
existing customer base that stop by. But we meet lots of new customers as well.
It’s always a good show for us. Meeting customers face-to face is really
important, we’ve always been a company where we try and engage with our
customers, it creates ownership over problems that the customer has.

is where all of our customers come. It’s very niche so it’s great to find all
the right people. As a waste management company, we are in the supply zone.
which is great because visitors know where to go to find us and the services we

having a great time. We’ve had good quality visitors, which is what we’re
looking for. The Easy Fairs app has been excellent, and we’ve found it to be
exceptionally useful and allowing us to make notes and recall them next week is
fantastic.

We’ve been coming to CHEMUK now, for about 6,7 years since it started in Harrogate. We come every year because it’s the best way to engage with our customers. They’re all here, they’re all available and we have great meetings, great conversations and get things done.
