Chris is a thought leader and pioneer in emergency response, crisis, and security management within the chemical sector, with a dynamic and engaging approach to training. He holds an MSc in Crisis Management and Emergency Planning, supported by a BSc in Leadership and Management. With 23 years of service in the UK Military, including special operations worldwide, Chris brings invaluable experience to crisis management. His expertise is further supported by qualifications in Human Intelligence (HUMINT), specializing in understanding human behavior in high-pressure situations. Chris has developed bespoke crisis management solutions for clients across various industries, leveraging his unique insights into non-technical skills required for managing crises. He has written white papers, delivered webinars, and spoken at seminars on the critical importance of these skills in high-pressure scenarios. Chris’s global experience includes delivering crisis management training for organizations such as BP, Saudi Aramco, Shell, Chevron, and ADNOC, as well as major chemical manufacturers. His work spans areas like business continuity, crisis leadership, and management training. He also pioneered a successful Emotional Resilience course for Incident Command, delivering it to emergency services worldwide, helping professionals understand the connection between crisis management and stress resilience.
