About us
AVA has been the leading wholesale supplier of DIN- and ASME standard industrial valves in Europe for more than 50 years. As a long-term exclusive partner of innovative manufacturers worldwide, AVA supplies its customers in the chemical, petrochemical, mechanical engineering, and power plant industries promptly with industrial valves from four sales and warehouse locations in Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain.
On a storage area of more than 11,000 square meters AVA stores industrial valves and accessories worth more than EUR 18 million, ensuring high availability and fast deliveries. Standard products include gate valves, butterfly valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, strainers made of carbon steel, steel alloys and stainless steel. In addition, AVA supplies a wide range of special valves based on customer specifications. The portfolio is rounded out by a valve conversion, automation and modification service based on specific customer requirements. This service is provided by AVA subsidiary ASA Armaturen Service Alms GmbH.
Next to regular trade, AVA focuses particularly on the management of major European MRO contracts in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Building on many years of expertise, AVA serves corporate clients including multinational companies with optimal solutions to help effectively avoid lengthy stoppages and downtimes.
The certified management system operated by AVA GmbH is based on the DIN EN ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards. AVA products conform to stringent requirements of functionality, material selection and fitness for purpose. This includes particular focus on supplier selection. AVA provides comprehensive automation solutions for industrial valves, combining technical expertise with decades of industry experience. With more than 50 years of know-how and a strong European presence, AVA is a trusted partner for reliable and efficient valve automation across a wide range of industries. Our specialized automation department offers customized solutions for the automation of ball valves, plug valves, butterfly valves, gate valves and globe valves. Systems are tailored to customer specifications and process requirements, including actuator sizing, component selection and functional design. AVA works with leading actuator and accessory manufacturers, offering pneumatic, electric and hydraulic actuators as well as solenoid valves, limit switch boxes and positioners from established brands. A comprehensive stock of actuators, mounting kits, adapters and accessories enables short delivery times and flexible project execution. All automated valves are assembled using proven standard components and tested according to defined procedures. The results are documented and supplied with test certificates to ensure transparency and operational safety. ASA Flow Sight Glasses – Made in Germany
ASA Flow Sight Glasses – Made in Germany ASA flow sight glasses are engineered for reliable visual inspection of process media in industrial applications. Designed and manufactured in Germany, they combine robust construction with high-quality materials and certified safety standards. The product range covers sizes DN15 to DN150 (NPS ½” to 6”) and pressure classes PN10 to PN40 as well as ASME Class 150 and 300. Bodies are available in carbon steel or stainless steel, with additional materials on request. Various sight glass options such as borosilicate, soda lime or metaglass ensure optimal visibility under different operating conditions. ASA sight glasses are suitable for flange, butt weld, socket weld or threaded connections and comply with major international standards and approvals, including PED 2014/68/EU, AD 2000 A4, EN 12516-2 and TA-Luft 2021. Product-side graphite seals and stainless steel fasteners ensure long-term tightness and durability. With more than 40 years of experience in industrial valve solutions, ASA stands for precision manufacturing, extensive quality control and full traceability.
