AZO®eDos Dosing system for precise dosing of small quantities
In the food, plastics and chemical industries, precise and clean dosing of bulk materials is crucial for the quality of the end product. With the newly developed eDos system, AZO presents a latest-generation dosing solution. It is particularly suitable for the exact dosing of small quantities in automated processes. At the heart of the system is a dosing unit made of wear-resistant polyurethane (PU). It is optionally available in a food-compliant or silicone-free version. Thanks to its innovative design, there are no moving metal parts in the product flow. This means no metal abrasion, minimal maintenance and maximum process reliability. Dosing itself is carried out by a servo-electric dosing gripper, which opens the PU dosing lip by applying targeted pressure, thus releasing a precisely defined material flow. Accuracies of up to ±1 g and a dosing capacity of 650 l/h are possible. The dosing process remains precise even with abrasive or difficult-to-flow products. The system is rounded off by an integrated dust extraction system and a pneumatic knocker. This not only optimises discharge, but also significantly reduces dust formation – a real advantage in terms of cleanliness, occupational safety and environmental regulations.

AZO Big bag discharging station AGW
The AZO big bag emptying station with AGW connection system is suitable for use in the OEB 3 area and has been specially designed to contain dust pollution when emptying big bags. Through the integrated glovebox, the big bag can be opened safely and the powder contained can be conveyed into the downstream system. AZO Sack discharge station OEB3
The AZO sack discharge station OBE 3 enables the emptying of bagged material under special operator protection. The integrated roller conveyor guides the closed bags into a glove box where they can be opened without the operator coming into contact with the raw material they contain. The bag can thus be safely emptied into the downstream system. AZO COMPONENTER® Step – Automatic weighing of minor and micro components
The AZO COMPONENTER® Step makes it possible to weigh minor and micro components automatically with gram accuracy, such as pigments, colourings, flavouring agents, additives, active agents and numerous other micro quantities. The system improves product safety while simultaneously boosting production efficiency by reducing individual manual production steps to a minimum. It can be used in the food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and plastics industries. Especially when it comes to sectors with stringent requirements for hygiene, batch purity and product separation, the AZO COMPONENTER® Step enables adherence to the strict regulations and requirements of specific branches. Dry cleaning of containers – for spotless results
The ingenious design makes it possible to automatically clean containers that have been contaminated inside with product residue and dust. Thanks to the umbrella-like mechanism, it is also possible to clean containers with small inlet apertures, as the cleaning unit only unfolds once it is inside the container. The design can thus be adapted to virtually any geometric shape of rotationally symmetrical hoppers.

Secure product feeding through integrated screening
AZO feeding hopper type ET...VS GA with integrated vibrating perforated sheet and evacuation of coarse materials The hopper serves to feed bulk solids in powdered and granular form into closed materials handling systems, such as pneumatic conveying systems. Products can be fed from sacks, boxes, barrels or similar receptacles. As different branches will have very diverse requirements regarding quality and hygiene, the feeding hoppers are available in a variety of materials and surface finishes.

AZO Pneumatic Conveying systems
When bulk goods need to be conveyed gently from A to B segregation-free and without break-up a variety of pneumatic conveying systems can be used, dependent on the application, such as suction-conveying systems, pressure conveying systems, suction-pressure conveying systems, impulse conveying systems or dense-phase conveying systems. For particularly gentle and energy-saving conveyings, the AZO®VacuumPlus and AZO®MULTIAIR densphase conveying systems are recommended.

AZO Big bag discharge systems: flexible system solutions with high efficiency
AZO offers many different systems for discharging big bags. The discharge systems are often equipped with lifting gear or forklift traverse and a big bag connection system with a press-on lid or inflatable collar. The big bag connection systems are available in many Versions, according to the type of big bag as well as the requirements regarding product and operator protection. These systems for discharging big bags can also be combined with systems for feeding sacks and drums.
