Membership enquiry form
The Association represents members with business activities associated with the chemical industry supply chain, ranging in size from multi-nationals to SMEs and sole traders. Members include companies manufacturing bulk chemicals, fine chemicals, speciality and performance chemicals for industrial and consumer use, and process aids for industrial applications; product formulators; distributors; retailers; service companies; spinout and startup businesses; and academia. Service companies include companies engaged in toll manufacturing; companies providing technical support, additional non-chemical supplies, services and equipment; companies providing research, analytical and testing services; companies providing consultancy and legal services; and training organisations.

Sector group information
Our members' interests are diverse. No matter where they sit in the supply chain, regardless of their size, or what their specific interests are, we provide all members with information and support relevant to the running of businesses operating in the industry. To support our members further we operate a range of sector groups for members to review developments in legislation affecting the chemicals industry in general and for those with special interests in surfactants, biocides, personal care and water treatment.

Training courses
Members and non-members alike are welcome to join us on British Chemicals Association training courses. Our current range of courses provides education and aids staff development in the fields of surfactant chemistry and microbiology (relevant to the formulation of surfactants and biocidal products) and cosmetic ingredients as well as legislation affecting the chemicals industry. Our training courses are delivered by experts with many years' practical industry experience and whether you are technical or non-technical, newly-recruited or not, there may be a course for you.
