Products & services

EcoLoaf
EcoLoaf technology transforms waste bread into high value fermentable sugars, creating a sustainable alternative to traditional feedstocks. By repurposing the surplus bread, CSR is creating a circular production systems while reducing the reliance on food grade resources. Enabling more sustainable inputs at scale.

EcoSpud
EcoSpud Technology converts rejected potato spuds into renewable reducing sugars and oligomers with range of applications across various industrial sectors. Designed to maximize the value of underutilized agricultural by-products. EcoSpud offers a scalable, low carbon solution for sustainable manufacturing and biobased production, supporting the transition towards circular bioeconomy.

Pretreatment of Lignocellulosic biomass
We provide the services for the pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass at a scale of 500 L at our facility. The pretreatment of lignocellulosic feedstocks enables efficient breakdown of biomass structure into lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose needed for subsequent downstream processing. The system will support a range of pretreatment methods, including thermal, chemical, and hydrothermal approaches, to enhance biomass digestibility and conversion efficiency. This capability will allow us to optimize process parameters, generate reliable pilot-scale data, and support the development and scale-up of sustainable bio-based production processes within our operations.

Enzymatic Hydrolysis
Our infrastructure provides 30 L, 100 L, 500 L, and 1000 L enzymatic hydrolysis reactors to carry out efficient conversion of both first-generation (1G) and second-generation (2G) feedstocks into fermentable sugars under controlled conditions. These reactors will enable precise control of key process parameters such as temperature, pH, agitation, and enzyme dosing, ensuring optimal hydrolysis performance across different scales. The availability of multiple reactor volumes will support process development, optimization, and scale-up studies, allowing us to generate reliable and reproducible data for a wide range of feedstocks. This integrated capability will strengthen our ability to advance biomass-to-bioproduct conversion processes and support the development of commercially viable and sustainable solutions.

Bench to Semi-pilot Fermentation Facility
We offer 1 L to 20 L fermentation facilities at our site to conduct aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative fermentations for the production of a wide range of bioproducts, including chemicals, fuels, alcohols, sugar alcohols, and proteins. These systems will provide precise control over critical parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and agitation, enabling robust cultivation of diverse microbial systems. The range of reactor volumes will support early-stage development, strain evaluation, and process optimization, allowing for efficient screening and generation of reproducible data. This capability will facilitate the development and refinement of scalable fermentation processes for various industrial biotechnology applications. The product and process development will be conducted and supervised by extreme experts with 10+ years hands on experience in handling various microorganisms and the reactors to cultivate them under suitable environments for high TYP metrics.

Distillation & Concentration
We offer the services of distillation and concentration using the single-effect evaporator (SS304, 120 L working volume, 100 kg/h evaporation capacity) at our facility for process streams and recovery of valuable components from aqueous solutions. The system will enable efficient removal of water under controlled thermal conditions, supporting downstream processing of fermentation broths, hydrolysates, and other liquid streams. Its operation will allow us to optimize concentration parameters, improve product quality, and enhance overall process efficiency. This capability will play a key role in process development, scale-up studies, and the integration of separation and purification steps within our bioprocessing workflows.

Crystallization
We offer the crystallization reactor (SS304 construction, temperature range 4–80°C, equipped with a spiral ribbon agitator and temperature-controlled jacket) at our facility for controlled crystallization and solid recovery processes. The system will enable precise control over temperature profiles and mixing conditions, ensuring uniform supersaturation and crystal growth for a variety of products. Its design will support efficient heat transfer and consistent agitation, allowing optimization of crystal size, purity, and yield. This capability will be integral to downstream processing, product refinement, and scale-up of crystallization operations within our process development activities.
