Chemical slurry pumps Series CSP

CSP chemical slurry pumps: single-stage centrifugal pumps for chemical, petrochemical and industrial applications.

General description:
The CSP series of chemical slurry pumps are special, single-stage, normal-priming centrifugal pumps designed for chemical, petrochemical and general industrial applications. They feature standardized dimensions according to ISO 2858 and cover a wide range of variants, from basic models to versions compliant with ISO 5199 and based on API 610-OH1. The scope of supply ranges from individual pumps with free shaft ends to fully integrated systems.

Fields of applications:
CSP pumps are designed for handling contaminated or solids-laden liquids in process engineering. Various material options make them suitable for aggressive and abrasive liquids, including contaminated acids, alkalis and slightly viscous media.

Advantages:
Vortex (free-flow) or channel impellers enable reliable handling of demanding fluids. Crystalline, solids- or particle-laden liquids can be pumped with minimal risk of clogging and low wear. Depending on the pump and impeller design, free passages can reach up to 90% of the discharge outlet’s nominal diameter – a major advantage for solids-laden media.

The seals and materials are identical to those used in our established CNP series of chemical standard pumps. The CSP series also features the same robust bearings, ensuring high operational reliability. The use of standard parts simplifies spare-parts replacement and reduces storage and maintenance costs.

Existing systems with standard chemical pumps can be easily upgraded to the CSP series without complex modifications, thanks to ISO 2858-compliant connection dimensions. This enables reliable operation with abrasive and solids-laden media and significantly extends service life compared to conventional standard chemical pumps.
