King's Award Success
Our UK-based business Elfab Ltd (trading as OsecoElfab) has been honored with a King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2025.
Our UK-based business Elfab Ltd (now trading as OsecoElfab) is one of 197 organizations nationally to be recognized with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise. Announced today (Tuesday 6 May), OsecoElfab has been recognized for its excellence in International Trade. A total of 199 Awards have been made, with two companies being recognized with two Awards.
The Lord-Lieutenant for Tyne and Wear will present the Award to the business on Thursday, 2 October at 2pm as part of the company's 60th Birthday Anniversary Celebration and Charity Extravaganza in support of St Oswald's Hospice.
Currently employing 94 people, Elfab Ltd was founded in 1965, rebranding in 2021 as OsecoElfab. Part of the FTSE 100 listed Halma Group, OsecoElfab designs and manufactures essential safety devices for industrial pressure management. These include bursting discs, explosion vents, and burst detection systems. Central to the company’s success are its customer-focused support services, including bespoke product design, specialized engineering services, project management, site surveys, and pressure safety training.
The King’s Awards for Enterprise (previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise) are the most prestigious awards for UK business. The Award program is now in its 59th year and recognizes outstanding achievements in the fields of Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development, and Promoting Opportunity (Through Social Mobility).
