SD164 Ex & SD264 Ex

These scanners are cabled handheld barcode scanners, designed for use in Zone 1 / 21 hazardous areas.

The SD164 Ex reads 1D barcodes and the SD264 Ex reads both 1D and 2D barcodes. They are wired handheld barcode scanners, designed for use in hazardous areas. They are fully ruggedised, able to withstand fifty drops onto concrete from a height of 2m, and the ergonomic grip and lightweight, well-balanced body make the SD164 Ex and SD264 Ex easy to handle even whilst wearing gloves.

The long reading distance and wide scan line ensure that barcodes in awkward, hard-to-reach locations can be read, and the rapid scan rate of up to 500 scans per minute makes them very efficient.
