ATEX Mobile Operator Panel for Zone 1 / 21
In hazardous areas, operators are often forced to choose between fixed HMIs and mobile devices. This creates inefficiencies, duplicated hardware, and limited flexibility on site. The Mobile Operator Panel (MOP) removes this compromise. Built around intrinsically safe IS940.1 and IS945.1 tablets, the system allows a single device to function as both a fixed operator interface and a fully mobile tablet. When docked, it provides a stable HMI for equipment control. When removed, it becomes a powerful mobile tool for inspections, diagnostics and field tasks. The Ex UniCase is a universal, ATEX and IECEx certified tablet enclosure designed for long-term industrial use in hazardous areas. Solexy SWA/SWS A1
The Solexy SWA/SWS A1* (SWA = Aluminium SWS = Stainless Steel) is the most compact industrial WiFi MIMO 2×2 access point rated for installation in Zone 1 rated hazardous locations and harsh environments. It is completely configurable through its Ethernet or WiFi port via your internet browser or through a dedicated configuration software and offers routing, filtering and advanced security features including 802.11i (EAP authentication with Radius server/WPA/WPA2 Enterprise), tunnels with fully encrypted data, firewall, VLAN. The SWA/SWS A1* features several operating functions: WiFi access point, client, repeater & MESH point modes. These scanners are cabled handheld barcode scanners, designed for use in Zone 1 / 21 hazardous areas. The SD164 Ex reads 1D barcodes and the SD264 Ex reads both 1D and 2D barcodes. They are wired handheld barcode scanners, designed for use in hazardous areas. They are fully ruggedised, able to withstand fifty drops onto concrete from a height of 2m, and the ergonomic grip and lightweight, well-balanced body make the SD164 Ex and SD264 Ex easy to handle even whilst wearing gloves. The long reading distance and wide scan line ensure that barcodes in awkward, hard-to-reach locations can be read, and the rapid scan rate of up to 500 scans per minute makes them very efficient. EKX-4 Ground Monitoring Device
The Timm Grounding Control Devices ensure static electricity that could build up on a Road Tanker during filling or unloading is discharged safely to earth, thus avoiding a potential spark risk. The system will only give the Green Light and release the interlock to pumps etc when the grounding clamp is correctly fitted to the road tanker and will not operate if it is attached to other metal objects such as a tool or the gantry. If the Earth / Ground connection is interrupted, the filling or unloading process will stop immediately. The Timm device enclosure is purpose-designed for the system and a heavy Exd or Explosionproof box is not required, thus simplifying installation and on-going maintenance. Grounding Clamps and Cables
The Timm Grounding Clamps and Cables ensure that static electricity, which could build up on drums and vessels during filling or emptying is discharged safely to earth, thus avoiding a potential spark risk. The purpose-designed stainless steel Bite Clamps have powerful springs and sharp teeth to ensure that they bite through coatings and deposits to provide a reliable grounding path from the base metal of the container. The steel-core, high mechanical strength cables are available with either a green or yellow and green coating to represent earthing.
