M Barnwell Services is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of Oil and Gas Seals meeting all Downstream, Midstream and Upstream applications. We have a comprehensive range of products, compounds, and materials for all applications that conform to European and International standards (NORSOK M710, TOTAL GS PVV 142 03/01, SHELL SPE 85/301, ISO 10423 API 6A and NACE). Our specialized elastomer grades are specifically tailored to provide high sealing efficiency for anti-explosive decompression (AED), rapid gas decompression (RGD), sour gas, extreme temperatures, and aggressive chemicals. Sample Identification / Reverse Engineering
If you are unsure or confused by a particular fluid sealing product or application our Sample Identification / Reverse Engineering Service can help. We can offer this service on the basis of physically existing product (a sample) but there is no original documentation, drawings and/or datasheets. The sample can be thoroughly examined and tested, then can simply be arranged and manufactured according to your precise specifications. The development process is consequently shorter and the manufacture costs substantially reduced. With over 40 years of fluid sealing experience, our inspection and testing team also have multiple highly sophisticated tools which can measure the composition of the material and we can then suggest replacement parts from stock. This service is fast becoming an integral part of process safety management in many industries including Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining, Green Energy, Offshore Drilling. Bespoke Kit Branding & Packaging
Many years ago M Barnwell Services took up the challenge to provide a solution for customers who wanted our products but packaged in their own brand -Bespoke Kit Branding Packaging. With industry-leading technology and a dedicated facility at our HQ in Birmingham, we developed a customized packing solution for our customers to huge success. Our Pick – Pack – Label service takes out the time consuming and expensive activity of assembling kits from your process, while also freeing up space at your premises. From product sourcing, right through to delivery (you or the customer) you receive your very own branded product. Bespoke Kit Branding Packaging – How we do it Pick Tell us which products you need and we will supply them from our current stock, source it from manufacturers or create it on our own SealMaker Machines. Pack Our dedicated Pick – Pack – Label facility contains an extensive range of efficient and economical automated assembling machines to create kits in a variety of bags and containers. These include polybags, shrinkwrap cards, blister packs, selection boxes and other industrial strength boxes. Label Customised packaging solutions to meet your brand requirements are developed by our in-house packaging design team. Everything created is in your brand image and agreed by you. Once your order is complete and ready to go we can make the delivery to either you or the customer to suit your own or their schedule – where you want them and when you want them.
Kitting, Assembly & Sub-Assembly

With a dedicated facility at our HQ in Birmingham, we offer versatile and economical kitting services to endorse your processes. Products are assembled, packed, boxed, and branded in accordance with the corporate guidelines of your company. These manufacturing processes are extensively used by a wide range of customers, large and small, across a variety of industries. Kitting, Assembly, and Sub-Assembly manufacturing processes are very much alike and bring some huge advantages to prosperous supply chain management solutions. The advantages include flexibility, consistency, efficiency, cost and time savings, and quality. Kitting A ‘product grouping’, is a service that integrates individual different but related items into a durable, compact box or bag, ready for either emergency or routine maintenance. Until assembled by the end-user, the individual components in kits frequently stay separate. Specified kits or boxes enhance your stock without sustaining further warehousing expenses. Assembly Two or more items are combined together to create a sole part and packaged as a single end product ready for integration into the manufacturing process. As a result, it allows customers to reduce their time and bill of materials (BOM) as they only purchase one complete component. Sub-Assembly Partially assembled components that will be fitted into a larger assembly or assortment of products. It reduces the time and resources required to undertake this task at a production line, consequently enabling customers to focus on their core activities.

Rapid Sealing Solutions – M Barnwell Services 24 Hour Seal Maker Service can manufacture standard, bespoke and prototype fluid seals within 24 hours or sooner. Our experienced and knowledgeable engineers can manufacture urgently, standard or special seals, in a variety of quality materials, including Elastomers: Nitrile (NBR), Viton (FPM/FKM), Silicone, EPDM, Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR), Aflas® (FFKM) and plastics: Polyurethane (AU), UHMW-PE, PEEK, PTFE, Polyamide (Nylon) and Polyacetal. We can produce seals on site up to 520mm O.D. and larger sizes available upon request. A 24-hour service is subject to conditions and availability.
