The all-new Stonkote ESD
Kemtile, a division of Stonhard has launched the all-new Stonkote ESD, which delivers outstanding performance, vibrant colour options and a faster installation process by eliminating the need for a conductive primer. Developed in collaboration with its US-based R&D and marketing teams, Stonkote ESD is a durable, chemical-resistant, thin-mil coating engineered to consistently achieve ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) readings below 1.0 x 10⁶ ohms. In the chemical industry, ESD is a critical concern due to its potential to damage sensitive electronic components, contaminate products, and even trigger explosions in environments with flammable gases or dust. ESD-safe practices, including proper flooring, packaging, and personal protective equipment, are essential for maintaining product quality, worker safety, and regulatory compliance.
