A new larger 7" version of our popular and established 4.3" Modbus displays has been introduced. Part of the BEKA Pageant family complimenting the BA329 8-variable process display and the modular and ultimately flexible open system, HMI, PLC with IO and communications.

This new BA489, acts as a Modbus slave displaying process values with engineering units and tag identifiers in Zone 1, 2, 20 and 22 applications. IECEx, ATEX and UKEX Intrinsically safe certification for dust and gas permit use for many and varied hazardous area projects all around the world.

Nine different display formats allow one, two, four or eight variables with or without bar-graphs to be shown together on a screen simply configured via the eight front accessed capacitive touch buttons that can also be controlled tri-colour LEDs. If the desired configuration for each variable, such as the engineering units and tag identification are known BEKA can pre-configure saving valuable installation time.

Two displays are available, each with a IP66 low profile 316 stainless steel bezel for either IS applications where a 4mm toughened glass window is fitted (BA489-GL) alternatively an impact rated polycarbonate window version (BA489-PC) for use in Ex e gas increased safety cabinets or Ex t dust certified enclosures. All BEKA products include a 3-year warranty.
