    3. Set point stations [set point generators]

Set point stations [set point generators]

Loop powered set point stations (set point generators) enable the current flowing in a 4/20mA loop to be manually adjusted from within a process area. The set point station's digital display may be calibrated to show the 4/20mA current in engineering units, thus allowing an operator to easily adjust a controller set point or an actuator position. Optional rugged 316 stainless steel enclosure provides front of panel impact and IP66 protection, allowing installation into an aperture in an Ex e, Ex p or Ex t certified panel enclosure without invalidating the panel enclosure's certification.

    4. SFD

      SFD

The SFD (Sublimated Forward Acting Rupture Disc) is a versatile rupture disc solution suitable for use with a wide range of process conditions. Manufactured using Contour Precision Lasering, this forward acting rupture disc eliminates common industry concerns associated with mechanically scored discs such as premature failure, corrosion on the score-line and pin-holing. Unexpected problems can cause costly downtime, REMBE®’s CPL™ Technology maximises the lifetime of the installed disc and ensures high-quality, accurate burst control even in the harshest of environments.

    5. Shakers

      Shakers

IKA offers the perfect lab shaker for mixing and shaking tasks. In addition to the tried and tested orbital shakers and horizontal shakers, the innovative incubator shaker KS 4000 is gaining popularity in laboratories. Its precise temperature control makes the incubator shaker a reliable asset in every lab. IKA products boast speeds of up to 3,000 revolutions per minute during continuous operations. A digital display, timer function, and controlling options via the lab software Labworldsoft ensure optimal working conditions. Integrated end point positioning allows for automated sampling. An extensive array of attachments enables the use of vessels in every shape and size. Functionality, safety, and longevity are the main goals in the development of IKA lab shakers.

    6. SICCO Desiccators and drying cabinets

      SICCO Desiccators and drying cabinets

SICCO Desiccators and drying cabinets are used in many different industrial sectors. Available in different sizes and with maximum of flexibility and functionality, they cover the full spectrum of protected drying and storage. With robust construction, appealing design and sophisticated functionality SICCO desiccators set the standard. SICCO, a Bohlender brand, is the result of 30 years experience delivering safe storage systems for sensitive items and materials. All design, development and manufacturing are done in-house by Bohlender professionals. Desiccators SICCO Desiccators are designed for storing or drying humidity sensitive products using Silicagel. The tight-fitting door protects the contents from contamination of the atmosphere creating dust and humidity-free storage. The controlled environment inside the desiccators is ideal for storing reference materials, retained samples, metallographic specimens and DNA samples Desiccators for gas-filling SICCO Desiccators for gas-filling provide ideal conditions for safe and secure storage of poisonous chemicals. Rare or inert gases like nitrogen can be introduced as soon as the door is closed tightly. Compared to the ambient air, the inert gas does not react with the stored substances. Antistatic-Desiccators SICCO Antistatic-Desiccators can protect electronic components against humidity and airborne particulates in an antistatic atmosphere. Electrostatic charges are discharged by a grounding cable and a charge neutral atmosphere is produced inside the desiccator. Antistatic-Desiccators are mainly used for temporary storage of components for electronic products. Glove boxes Allow safe working with contaminated and sensitive compounds in a controlled environment and the natural rubber gloves provide with the necessary mobility for safe handling. The connectors for gas-filling allow flushing of the workspace as well as the transfer chamber with inert gas.

    7. Side Channel Pumps

      Side Channel Pumps

Side channel pumps fill the gap between centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. They are available as mechanically sealed or magnetically driven units with various configurations and material options. Their modular design gives thousands of combinations. Key features: • High differential head – ideal for pumping liquids across long distances or through small pipework • Handles high gas content (up to 50%) – a reliable choice for applications involving condensates, LPG, and other gaseous liquids • Low Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) – operates with as little as 0.35m and handles liquids near boiling point without cavitation • Self-priming suction lift of up to 8.5m • Wide temperature range – from -20°C to +120°C as standard, extendable to -60°C to +220°C with modifications • Efficient and economical in low-flow applications – suited to applications as low as 0.4m³/hr • High pressure – up to 40 bar (8-9x higher than centrifugal pumps) • Easy to control head and flow due to steep operating curves • Handles low viscosity fluids Materials of construction: • A wide range of options including casings manufactured in ductile iron, super duplex SS, stainless steel AISI 316 and bronze • Hastelloy and carbon fibre reinforced polymer containment shells on magnetically driven pumps

    8. Sieving

      Sieving

Materials can be sieved from 10mm down to 75 microns. This can be used to remove oversize or undersize particles or to remove outsize contaminants. Sieving is frequently used as a final Critical Control Step in food processing. Air swept sieves can be used to remove coarse particles or to sieve low density fine materials, they generally only provide two fractions oversize and undersize. Oscillating and vibrating sieves can operate effectively down to 50 microns using ultrasonic cleaning. They offer the advantage of gentle action for friable materials and can provide more than one sieved fraction in one process step. Custom Powders Ltd can offer more than 10 different sieving processes with oscillating sieves with brush or air jet cleaning, vibrating sieves with Ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning and a range of air swept sieves. Process standards range from Industrial chemical, to food, to full GMP
