Jasco FTIR-4X LR-2
JASCO has its roots in the Institute of Optics - Tokyo University of Education which developed Japan’s first infrared spectrophotometer, Model DS-101, in 1954. Since the establishment of the company in 1958, we have inherited the spirit of our predecessors in infrared spectrophotometry and have completed the FT/IR-4X as the culmination of our work. The size is only 386 (W) × 479 (D) mm, and we have also achieved a 30 % reduction in power consumption compared to conventional models. It is research-grade in performance, functionality and expandability, and supports high resolution, high S/N, high sensitivity detectors, extending measurement wavenumber, microscopy with linear array detector, and rapid scan. The sample compartment is 200 mm wide, the same width as that of a large model, and can accommodate conventional accessories, including those from third parties.

Generations of scientists have relied on their high-quality and durable equipment. JUCHHEIM manufacture chemical and technical pilot plants made of stainless steel and special alloys according to customer specifications on a laboratory or pilot plant scale, with reaction volumes ranging from millilitres to 150 litres. A pilot plant may be used for data collection, optimisation, and the gathering of technical experience in chemical process R&D. Discover more about JUCHHEIM’s pressure reactors and process systems for laboratory and pilot plant use. Pressure Vessels JUCHHEIM pressure vessels, made of stainless steel or Hastelloy®, offer corrosion resistance and durability. A wide range of pressure reactors are available for use in the laboratory and pilot plants. Volumes from 50 ml up to 200 litres and operating pressures from vacuum to 500 bar are available, up to 500°C. Products have a surface roughness of less than 0.8 µm Ra as standard, meaning they are easy to clean and have significantly increased chemical resistance. A surface roughness of less than 0.4µm Ra with electrochemical polishing for passivation is available as an option. HiClave Series JUCHHEIM set the standard for laboratory and pilot plant applications with the HiClave series of autoclaves and reactor systems. HiClave™ chemical reactors support high-pressure reactions up to 500 bar and 500°C. Available as single autoclaves or complete systems with heating & stirring. Constructed from stainless steel, Hastelloy, PTFE/PFA, or tantalum-coated materials. Optional heating/cooling systems, magnetic or overhead stirrers, as well as a wide variety of gas and liquid supplies are available. Optional PTFE or glass liners, catalyst baskets, and other accessories available.

K77000/K77001 Automated Cloud and Pour Point Analyser
The Automatic Cloud and Pour Point Analyser automatically measures cloud point by Optical Detection and pour point with the Automatic Tilt Method. The instrument has separate wireless heads for pour point and cloud point. Once the sample tube is placed inside the instrument, the head can easily be placed and secured onto the instrument which then recognises the head and automatically selects the appropriate method. As liquid petroleum products cool, some hydrocarbons will begin to precipitate and crystallize into a solid. These crystals are referred to as “wax crystals. Cloud Point is the temperature of a liquid sample when the smallest observable cluster of hydrocarbon crystals first occurs upon cooling. Once the optical system detects the presence of this solid wax, the temperature within 0.1°C is recorded. ASTM D5771 is the test method that describes the detection of cloud point. This test method covers temperatures from -60 °C to + 49 °C with a temperature resolution of 0.1 °C. Pour Point is the lowest temperature at which movement of the test specimen is observed when tilted. For this method, the test specimen is examined at 1°C or 3°C intervals using a light emitter and light receiver to detect any movement. The pour point is measured using the automatic tilt method which is in accordance with ASTM D5950. This test method is designed to cover the range of temperatures from −66°C to +51°C Both Cloud and Pour Point are an index of the lowest temperature of a petroleum product or a biodiesel fuel’s use for certain applications. Flow characteristics, such as pour point, can be critical for the operation of lubricating oil and fuel systems, petroleum blending and pipeline operations.
