NORIT Activated Carbon Sample Kit
In early phase drug development, process chemists in Chemical Research & Development departments are responsible for developing and optimizing a synthetic route and pilot procedure to scale-up promising lead compounds for clinical trials. Process chemists strive to maximize yield of the lead compound, while simultaneously removing unwanted impurities, including: 1) light, medium and dark colors; 2) metal complexes including palladium, platinum, rhodium and ruthenium; and 3) process-related contaminants. Process chemists need to develop a production process that is safe, reproducible and cost-effective. It is almost impossible to predict which activated carbon grade will work best at removing unwanted impurities for any given lead compound. For this reason, we created a sample kit for the pharmaceutical market containing six high purity activated carbon grades with unique selectivity for removing a range of the most common impurities. The convenient design is ideal for placement on a laboratory benchtop. For each new lead compound, we recommend that process chemists try one chemically activated carbon and one steam activated carbon to determine which type works best, then optimize the purification method further by trying other steam or chemical activated grades in the kit. Given that process chemists start with PAC but often switch to powdered activated carbon filter discs during scale-up, we make these activated carbon grades available to the leading filter disc manufacturers, including: 3M, Pall, Millipore, Carlson, Gusmer, ErtelAlsop and Eaton Begerow. So whether you wish to use PAC for its ease of use and low cost, or prefer the cleaner filter disc product format to eliminate costly cleaning and validation steps, we have you covered.

They run 100% oil-free, can operate in any orientation and are available with many motor options. Swing piston pumps generate pressure and vacuum within a compact size and offer higher flow rates than diaphragm pumps of the same dimensions.

NRB (Nitrate Reducing Bacteria) Test Kit
Nitrite Reducing Bacteria Test Kits | NRB Tests SKU: 10010332 For the semi quantitative detection of Nitrite Reducing Bacteria. Nitrite Reducing Bacteria (NRB) are microorganisms that have the ability to reduce nitrite which in turn generates corrosive ammonia and gases (nitrogen). Causing issues such as microbial induced corrosion (MIC) for many industrial sectors, particularly as Nitrite Reducing Bacteria can diminish nitrite corrosion inhibitors. NRB Test Kits are fast, efficient, and easy to use for the semi quantitative detection of such Nitrite Reducing Bacteria, with a large window of detection from bacterial concentrations as little as >10 NRB cfu/ml up to >10⁹ NRB cfu/ml. Results can be interpreted in up to 5 days incubation, with high levels of contamination indicated in as little as 24 hours. Each of our NRB Test Kits comprises of x10 plastic tubes filled with selective culture media to encourage growth of Nitrite Reducing Bacteria. All packaged in securely fitted boxes with an easy-to-follow instruction leaflet, providing all the information required for testing. NRB Test Kits can also be used to measure Nitrite Reducing Bacteria where nitrite has been used to inhibit sulphide production, caused by Sulphate Reducing Bacteria. Other examples of the vast range of test samples that can be screened using our NRB Test Kits are as follows: Metal working fluids, Cooling waters, Water (tanks, environmental, process etc.), Fluids that contain nitrite corrosion inhibitor, Corrosion pits/surfaces. For more information regarding our NRB test kits or for details on bulk order discounts, please feel free to contact us.

Nutromex Series
Nutromex is a range of Nitrogen and Phosphorus blends designed to level out nutritional imbalances in aerobic plants. The normal ratio for aerobic plants with no N or P input is 5:1 but all ratios – from 100%N to 100%P – can be provided to optimise plant performance. Nutritionally, most wastewaters are unbalanced, particularly in Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P). This is where Nutromex can help. Nutromex NP has several benefits for the process including optimal COD removal and BOD removal, minimised solids loss, ensuring a stable operation and minimising fluctuations in N and P outlet.

Nutromex TEA Series
In order for anaerobic plants to operate effectively they require a variety of nutrients for the micro-organisms to grow and function properly. Essential trace elements such as iron, nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, copper, molybdenum and selenium which are critical for the successful operation in anaerobic conditions and for correct bacterial growth. OMEX has created the TEA series to help prevent these deficiencies which can affect a plants stability, performance and biogas production. A range of bio available micronutrient supplements created for the anaerobic digester market. These Trace Element Additives provide a wide range of essential trace elements, in a form fully bio-available in anaerobic conditions, to optimise system performance.

Nutsche Filter/Filter Dryer Optimization
Stop washing your product away!!! Canty offers a unique vision-based approach for non-contact cake detection and level measurement designed for Nutsche Filters. Cake detection is the determination of the transition from liquid slurry to solids “cake”. It’s critical to determine this transition in a timely manner to avoid cracking in the cake layer. Cracks will cause inconsistent washes and lost product. CANTYVISIONCLIENT™ software performs cake detection with image analysis in real time, by identifying the transition and generating an output signal for control to produce a homogeneous product without washing it away (through 4-20mA, OPC Interface, Modbus, etc...). Simultaneously, level measurement can be performed with the same vision system and crystallizer efficiency can be calculated. Combine this with an in-line Canty CrystalScope™ for true size and shape of crystals as they grow in real time for total process control. Operators can view the process at all times for visual verification and results are archived for historical record.
