Kinetrol is an independent British manufacturer of quarter-turn pneumatic actuators and controls for the process & machinery industries. The vane type actuators are available in both double acting and spring fail-safe forms.

The company makes 18 models with torque outputs ranging from 1 to 41000 Nm. With no linear to rotary conversion and a single moving part construction the units provide long maintenance free life, use less compressed air/energy, are compact and fast stroking.

The clock type spring packs have low torque loss/stress range, are totally sealed and guaranteed for the lifetime of the actuator. The zero backlash design makes the actuators ideal for modulating service.

Kinetrol range of space-saving control modules is extensive and includes limit switch boxes, pneumatic & electro-pneumatic positioners and manual override gearboxes. The company’s primary activity is the automation of ball, butterfly & plug valves and completed automated valve packages are also provided.
